About Us

Located in the northeast corner of Franklin County, Illinois on 80 acres of rolling pastures, Macedonia Sport Horses was founded in 2007 for the purpose of producing quality show horses at a reasonable price.

Here at Macedonia Sport Horses we are a small family operation so our babies are handled daily. All of our horses get optimal nutrition and unlimited turn out to green pastures. We pride ourselves in using the latest research to promote over-all health and soundness. All the horse here at Macedonia Sport Horses have up-to-date vaccinations, regular worming, current coggins, and farrier care.

All the horses have been handled throughout their lives. We like to start the ground work around the age of two with some light riding, but we really believe that a horse should not be worked until their fourth year.
